Dear 6Gracious,

This the the poll that many of you suggested. All votes are greatly appreciated. However, we would be extremely grateful if none of you vote multiple times as it would lead to an unfairness in the result. Thank you once again for the co-operation.

If there are other suggestions, please feel free to bring them out.

/the class that rocks

Dear 6gracious,

Even though this is the mid-year assessments period, we would still like to start our planning of the 6gracious gathering that happens frequently. However, there are few responses to the previous post and question posted by the Welfare Committee.

The question is whether Yishun Emerald, Gladys' house would be a better choice or Orchid Park Condominium. In case you all may ask what is the difference in facilities provided in the above two choices, they are stated below.

"I suggest that another feasible place for the June gathering would be Orchid Park condominium: basketball court and games room. This is so because transport to there is easy for most, the basketball court can be used to play basketball and soccer, and the games room allows for interaction games such as "wacko", "blind mice", etc.

I do agree that Gladys' condominium also provides such facilities, with an even bigger games room. Perharps all of us might be able to discuss on which is more feasible and at the same time, allow people to have more fun.

I hope to see constructive feedback posted up on the tagboard."

The above is quoted from the previous post written by Kai Yang. And we are quite sure that everyone should be quite familiar with Yishun Emerald's facilities as that was where our previous gathering was held at. Of course, at Orchid Park condominium too. Therefore, please co-operate in helping us decide on the venue of the upcoming venue, to help us make our organising task easier and faster so that everything can be decided as soon as possible. Otherwise, the plan is going to drag on and delayed, which we are sure none of us wish would happen.

Thank you for your kind co-operation, we hope to receive your enthusiastic responses as soon as possible.

Below is for the Administrative Committee.

Dear Administrative Committee,

I hope that all of you are looking forward to the upcoming gathering, and remain enthusiastic in organising the gathering. In case you might be wondering how you are going to contact the rest of our dearest classmates, the contact list of 6Gracious is already sent to you. Please check your email if you have not yet do so.

We hope to work with you in helping to organise the gathering.

Thank you.

Yours sincerely,
The Welfare Committee.

Dear 6 Gracious,

In an attempt to boost up the number of daily tags in the tagboard, I have decided to offer up another suggestion for the coming gathering on June.

I suggest that another feasible place for the June gathering would be Orchid Park condominium: basketball court and games room.

I hope to see constructive feedback posted up on the tagboard.

In an attempt the be "lame", the informal post is posted below.

Yours sincerely,
TOH KAI YANG

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

hey guys
seeing the tagboard so dead, i decided to post this up to revive the tagboard >.<

so i think anothe possible place for gathering would be the orchid park condo, cos it can let us play basketball, blind mice, etc.

gladys house is also possible, and i really dunno which to choose, so might want to discuss on tagboard

Dear 6 Gracious,

According to your constructive feedback, I have decided to compile them to make it more reader-friendly.The feedback are in no order of merit, but in order of date.

Option one: Movie

tohkaiyang: no good, no interaction. having a post-movie activity is good, but movie would be wasting time for interaction.
sophia: combine movie with other stuff, so that the gathering's focus is not only on movie.

Option two: Chalet

theron: have to book early
chyi fang: chalet quite ma fan

Option three: Theme Park (Escape)

tohkaiyang: dam nice but some people would not want to sit the rides.
chyi fang: if people dont like playing wild stuff he/she would not want to go.
junqi: dun go escape,go wild wild wet. escape requires adult price.some people would not want to go on some of the rides.
jingwen: dun go escape, she gets dizzy on the rides, dun dare to go on some
sophia: escape is fun, but a lot of people would not want to go, so no good. but it is FUN

Option four: Go someone's house

chyi fang: gladys condo clubhouse
tohkaiyang: go someone's house not bad
jingwen: house must be big

Option five: Ice skating

tohkaiyang: boring, people end up with sore legs
sophia: okok, but people would be separated into groups, so not good for interaction

Option six: Cycling / Roller blading

tohkaiyang: cycling is lame
chyi fang: cycling still ok, but some might not how to cycle / roller blade

Option seven: Going back CFPS

chyi fang: no interaction

Option eight: Others

junqi: go to the beach bbq, amazing race and stuff

In summary of the constructive feedback by the taggers:

Option one: Movie

It does not allow much interaction, and maybe allow a post-movie activity, but the movie would still take up time for interaction.

Option two: Chalet

Troublesome, have to book early.

Option three: Escape theme park:

No good, some might not want to go for fear of the rides.

Option four: Go someone's house

Not bad, but requires space.

Option five: Ice Skating

Boring, people would be separated due to difference in skill.

Option six: Cycling roller blading

Lame, some might not know how to cycle/roller blade

Option seven: Going back CFPS

No interaction

Option eight: others

Beach

Due to the feedback, a few options have been omitted

The renewed options are:

1. Movie (Discouraged)
2. Chalet (Discouraged)
3. Someone's house
4. Ice skating (Slightly discouraged)
5. Cycling/roller blading (Discouraged)
6. Beach

Take note that options escape theme park and going back CFPS have been ommitted.

Please continue with your feedback. They would be greatly appreciated.

We also need an organising team to take care of things:
Admin
Welfare

Admin would include contacting people, selecting dates.
Welfare would include planning activities.

Although admin might be a little boring, I hope people would volunteer yourself.
Your effort would be greatly appreciated. Theron would be in the welfare, of course.
Please reply as soon as possible so that we can select the organising team.

Regards,
Toh Kai Yang

Yes I agree we NEED to have more gatherings. I don't want to imagine the day when 6Gra people don't get together any more. June holidays... 2 gatherings is too little la. I mean 1 whole month with only 2 gatherings?! That's so wrong. I say at least 5 gatherings.

Ok since ky has recommended me, I shall take the initiative to ask for feedback on what kind of gatherings do you guys/gals like? Pls reply by posting or on the tagboard. Here are some options:1)Movie
2)Chalets
3)Theme Park(eg. Escape)
4)Go someone's house
5)Ice Skating
6)Cycling/Rollerblading
7)Going back to CFPS
8)Others
Whoops ky has mentioned about seeing each other on the streets coincidentally and making an effort to acknowledge one another. Sorry if i have not done so cos sometimes i feel s h y lol.

Bye ur feedback will certainly be appreciated

yo 6 gracious 06

i totally agree with chermain about gatherings, we ought to have at least 2 class gatherings in the june holidays to see how tall each other have grown xD but anyway seriously when any of us meet each other shd at least nod ur head or something, or wave or just raise ur hand, and dont be like shy and dao the person, or pretend u never see him/her, cos we are ex classmates, not strangers. so for organisers i strongly recommend theron, he planned a gathering last december which rocked my pants off (dont believe u can ask chun fai/gladys/ignatius/elaine). so i seriously recommend theron, and i hope he would volunteer himself to do a service for the ex class.

and i wan volunteers to be in the OT =_=

and i certainly do not recommend movie gatherings, cos they dont allow much interaction (how do u interact when ur just sitting there watching the movie? at most only talk with the person sitting beside u)

thanks bye

It's been a long time since I visited blogger.
Cause I using xanga.
Anyway, can someone update the blog? Like, got anything to post, just post!
When you posting in your blog, just take 5 min of your time to post here.
Post anything also can, any crap or stuff.
Maybe can summarize the tags so everyone knows what's going on?
Our tagboard lives but our posts are dying.

Tag summary:
People are complaining about CCA. Last time, there is no compulsory rule that everyone must have CCA. Those who have go back home latest 4.30pm. Now, because of CCA, there is no common time to have a gathering in Chongfu.
Everybody is upset with the spammer, Kira*L (name from Death Note). Kira*L is badmouthing and offending our classmates and they are not in the least pleased. Thus, they try to "wear him down" by responding to his insults. People believe that he is from 6Respectful and HCI and is uncultured. Currently, his named is changed to KiRa'L. Note: "Kira" means "killer" (pronounce the 'r' as 'l') and does "L" mean loser? Is he a loser killer or a killer loser? Possible suspects: tay pang shiang.
Quote from Jingwen about losing 1 mark and dropping one grade: "1 mark can cause you to be like, lose or gain a lot of marks. i prefer like, more marks and more qns".
By the way, the story, it looks very weird "hanging" like that so I gave it an ending. Thanks!

OUR POEM

Chongfu
A school like none other
A happy family
Where everyone is a sister or brother

Friendship found here is so real
I hold it in my heart so dear
Lending a listening ear; helping times of need
Many true friends i have made indeed

Teachers here are helpful and kind
They are the best you will ever find
There are times that they nag and scold
That's because they're trying to gey us to places we want to go

School life is busy, vibrant and fun
Though, alas, the homework has to be done
Our teachers may be fun and cool
But when in comes to work no one dares to play the fool!

With lush flourishing greens
All around and within
There couldn't be a better place to study in
And i pledge to keep our beautiful Chongfu clean

With sincerity and perserverance
We strive towards exellence
Awards and medals we won
Made possible for we are united as one

The school has taught us to achieve
Goals that we would never have conceived
The core values are important beliefs
They shape the way we live

Honest winners, Gracious losers
we have learnt to be
Always perservering; never a quitter
When faced with difficulties

From Chong Hock Girls'
To now Chongfu
We gasp in wonderment
What our school went through

16 April is Founder's Day
Let's get together for our school birthday
With a song and sparkling candlelights
Chongfu, spread your wings and may you soar to greater heights!

I love my school
And i call it mine
